Hosted by primary school teacher Rachel and local mumma Joyleen, this one-hour session is set on our beautiful farm (watch for cows!) and ends with morning tea and storytime.

Cyanotype Printmaking Art Workshop for Teenagers
Join artists Estelle Leishman and Kasey Pender for an inspiring cyanotype print-making workshop at The Bower Farm Collective – where nature meets creativity.
Teens will learn how to create stunning botanical prints using the sun as their camera! We’ll forage for flowers, leaves and natural materials, then transform them into beautiful artworks using an eco-friendly photographic process.
🎨 What they’ll make: Botanical paper prints, a printed tote bag, a pair of sock
🌱 Perfect for teens who love: Art, STEM, photography, painting, sewing, upcycling, fashion or nature.
✨ No art experience needed – just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy! All materials included.

Clay by Numbers: Parrot Sensory Art Workshop
Join us on the farm these holidays for a creative clay-by-numbers workshop surrounded by nature! Kids will bring a vibrant parrot to life using soft air-dry clay on a framed wooden board — with cows in the paddock and maybe even some curious lorikeets dropping by to check out their portraits.
Hosted by primary school teacher Rachel Barry, the session will be engaging for all age kids and includes a fun brain break game. Morning tea will be provided, you are welcome to bring your own as well. Please bring a drink bottle, hat and a warm jacket.
Suitable for ages 5+. Children 8+ can be left in Rachel’s care (WWCC and all safety checks in place). Kids under 8 will need a supervising adult to stay for the duration of the workshop.
All materials provided. A colourful, hands-on morning of creativity and farm charm!

KGet ready for a fun, creative morning at The Bower Farm Collective! Set our paddock with friendly cows nearby, kids will enjoy painting their very own Bee & Wildflowers canvas from the Emma Whitelaw Paint By Numbers range—perfect for beginners.
The session will be led by local primary school teacher Rachel Barry, who’ll guide the group step-by-step and keep things fun and relaxed. We’ll even throw in a brain break game to get everyone moving and laughing! All materials are provided, along with morning tea for the kids and tea and coffee for the grown-ups.
Recommended for ages 6+, but younger kids are welcome if you think they’re up for the challenge! Come paint, play, and enjoy a creative morning on the farm.

Get ready for a school holiday experience like no other! In this colourful and creative painting workshop, kids will be guided step-by-step to create their very own Piggy Picasso – a bright and silly portrait of a pig pulling a funny face.
Led by local artist and art teacher Kathryn Coetsee, this hands-on workshop is perfect for kids aged 6+ who love to paint, giggle, and get a little messy. We’ll explore sketching, colour mixing, and playful self-expression – with a paint-by-number option available for those who like a more guided process.
And the best part? We’ll be visited by real-life piglets during the session! Kids will have the chance to meet, greet, and fall in love with some of the farm’s cutest little residents.
Morning tea is included, and there’ll be a fun brain break to shake out the wiggles halfway through.

🌻 Golden Threads: Embroidery Workshop at The Bower Farm Collective 🌻
Begin with a guided stroll through the sunflower fields with Rachel from The Bower Farm Collective. As you wander among the golden blooms, pick a few of your favourites to use as inspiration for your embroidery masterpiece.
Next, we’ll take a short stroll to our serene back paddock by the creek, where the embroidery workshop will begin. Emma from Boutique Barn Co. will lead you through an embroidery masterclass, sharing stitching techniques and tips. Choose from a beginner or advanced design and stitch your artwork onto either a stylish tote bag or an embroidery square of fabric. Emma will provide guidance throughout the session to ensure your design comes to life.
Take home everything you need to continue your embroidery journey (over $50 value), including:

✔️ Design templates ✔️ Printed instructions and more.

Foraged Printmaking - Cyanotype

Foraged Printmaking Workshop: Cyanotype Creations on the Sunflower Farm
For this creative workshop in the sunflower fields, you will be guided by artist Estelle Leishman, who specialises in foraged ink making and eco-friendly art. Learn the skill of cyanotype printing using natural treasures you’ll forage from our farm. Materials will be provided to experiment on, including a tote bag and various types of paper and fabric. You can also bring a plain shirt, pillowcase, or tote to up-cycle.
This is open to families, and children can attend for half price with a paying adult.
